🤍Accessibility & Considerations

We strive to make Meadow Path as welcoming and inclusive as possible.

Indoor Access
Our 110-year-old building is not currently wheelchair accessible. There is no permanent ramp and no accessible restroom. Entry to the building requires the use of steps. Guests who use wheelchairs are welcome to bring a portable ramp if desired. We encourage contacting us in advance so we can share entry measurements and coordinate to help ensure a smooth arrival.

Outdoor Spaces
Our grounds include natural terrain, grass and mulched walking paths, and areas that may be uneven. Weather conditions may also affect footing.

Parking
The main parking area provides the easiest access to the labyrinth and trail. Parking near the Center (in front of the barn) is limited and is reserved for staff members and guests with mobility concerns or accessibility needs during indoor events or visits to the grove. We kindly ask other visitors to use the main parking area whenever possible.

If you have mobility concerns or accessibility questions, please reach out before your visit. We are happy to discuss the layout so you can determine what will feel comfortable and accessible for you.

As a small nonprofit, we are committed to growing thoughtfully. Improving accessibility remains part of our long-term vision as resources and renovations allow.

🌳 Visiting the Grounds

Our grounds are open to the public during daylight hours for quiet, self-guided exploration. The land includes a mix of maintained paths and natural areas. Visitors are invited to enjoy the grounds by staying on established paths and gathering areas, which help protect the meadow and landscape.

  • A meadow with tall grasses is preserved as a natural area and is not intended for walking through
  • Walking paths include features such as the labyrinth, trail, and connecting paths
  • Benches are located near the labyrinth and throughout the grounds
  • The grove includes sitting benches, picnic tables, and many of Meadow Path’s outdoor features

These experiences are informal and do not require registration. We do ask visitors using the grounds to sign in at the kiosk upon arrival.

Donations to support the care of the land and facilities are appreciated, but not required. Thank you for supporting Meadow Path.
