Visiting Meadow Path

Find answers to your questions about visiting our grounds – guidelines, accessibility, and hours, plus center hours and scheduling, staying connected, and more on the Plan Your Visit page.

Is your center religious?
No. We are not affiliated with any religion and do not teach beliefs or doctrine. Our programs are experiential and non-religious, focused on practices that support reflection, connection, and well-being. Some people experience these practices as spiritual or as a connection to something they might call Source or the Divine; others simply experience them as grounding or restorative. All backgrounds and perspectives are welcome. Read more about our non-religious approach to spiritual wellness

Energy Healing: Common Questions

Do I have to believe in energy healing for it to work?
No. Most people approach a session with simple curiosity. The benefits many notice—such as relaxation or a sense of calm—don’t require any particular belief.

Is energy healing a medical treatment?
No. Practices like Reiki, Healing Touch, and Therapeutic Touch are considered complementary approaches that may support well-being and comfort. They are not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

What might I feel during a session?
Experiences vary. Some people notice warmth, tingling, or a sense of lightness. Others simply feel deeply relaxed—or nothing in particular. All responses are normal.

Is there scientific evidence?
Research has shown promising results related to relaxation, stress reduction, comfort, and mood. Studies are ongoing, and scientists continue to explore how these effects occur.

Is touch required?
Not necessarily. Sessions can involve light touch or hands-near-the-body, always guided by your comfort and consent.

Who is this for?
Anyone seeking a quiet, restorative experience—especially those who enjoy yoga, meditation, or other gentle wellness practices.

Can I stop at any time?
Absolutely. You remain in control throughout the session and can request changes or end the session whenever you wish.
