Hello, my name is Jean and I hope to meet you at Meadow Path Healing Arts and Yoga
Center.
My yoga journey began many years ago when I found yoga during a time of great loss and
devastation in my life. Little did I know how blessed I was the day I wandered into a
local yoga studio. That was the moment healing began and my life positively changed
in profound ways. I desperately wanted to share the gift of yoga with everyone I met.
So, I found my way to Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts to practice, study, and become a Kripalu Yoga teacher in 2013. (Kripalu yoga is the yoga of compassion).
Today, I am also a yoga therapist and bring therapeutic practices
to students. My classes are designed to address specific, individual concerns and
challenges. As a breath-body-mind teacher, healing breathing practices, mindfulness and meditation are part of all my classes.
Yoga is a practice for everyone, and I aim to make each class supportive, safe, and restorative for all participants.
A Personal Note:
When I am not practicing yoga or designing classes, I enjoy cooking, baking, plants of
all kinds (my home looks like a jungle), traveling domestically and internationally and
spending time with my family, friends and my adorable cat, Shanti.
I am so grateful for my own healing and personal growth journey through yoga. Giving back brings me the love, peace, and joy I wish for all my students.
